Natalie Bean and her progress.
Well its been a roller coaster since we had Natalie. She has had surgery, been in the hospital for a couple weeks, struggling with eating, etc. And I have gotten no sleep over it.
I occasionally get the sleep I need. If I am incredibly tired, I will nap with Aidan and Natalie. It is hard to do when Aidan doesn't want to sleep. Natalie is growing. She has just been in with the Doctor on Monday and she finally reached her birth weight, but it doesn't impress the dr. much yet. He was hoping she would gain more than that. So now she will be seeing a nutritionist about her eating and diet. I am doing the best I can with her. Its not an easy process. I can feed her so much but from there, it really depends on her body and development.
We are excited about Halloween. I will have to post photos when the time comes for Halloween.
I took some photos of Natalie in her blessing dress made by my mother. It is a beautiful gown. I can't wait to get shadow frames and put their blessing outfits in them. I also took a photo of her in patriotic outfit. I was mostly screwing around with that photo.
We will not be in Colorado any longer for Christmas. We have decided to move back to Idaho to live with Cassey's sister. It was the impression to help save money and to get out of the house we are in now because this house is a terrible rental property. We may not know where we will be after Cassey is out of the Navy, but we will be closer to family and hopefully the jobs he looks for will be closer.
I have to add that going to Penrose Apple Festival was a ton of fun. The kids and I love going to any harvest festivals around. It is a family tradition I hope to keep going. They love going and picking apples from the apple orchard and going on hay rides. The best is the opportunity to have apple cider. Yum.
We have had a fun Fall so far and are looking forward to the Holidays coming up.
Please respond and let me know how your families are doing. I like knowing that all is well with people in the world.
I will post more photos and updates when I can.

Pregnancy Update and Family news
Well it has been forever since I have posted on here.
Cassey has been hard at work, school, volunteering, color guard, and being home with family whenever he can. He graduates College June 21st. We will be heading to Denver, Co for his graduation day. It will be a great day. We are hoping to see his parents there to celebrate this big day with him. Cassey has also won an award from the State of Colorado for his volunteer service and being an example to the community of Colorado Springs. That was a special day for him. I was glad I could go to support him during this honored event.
I am now 29 weeks, almost 30 weeks pregnant. I am ready to have this baby, but it is too soon.
The kids are out of School for the Summer. What will I do with them??? And hopefully it wont cost money. I would love to take them to the museums here so they can learn about Colorado Springs history before we leave in December. This is our last year here and I want them to do more than just sit on their tooshies and watch tv all Summer long.
We have had a long year. Some of the time we had struggled, others have been just a normal day for us. But we hang in there and keep our faith strong in the Lord.
We have all had colds and flus at one point or another.
Aidan has been growing in his molers all at the same time, so he has been cranky, slobbering and nibbling on his fingers. We think he already hit the terrible twos because he is a feisty. I am having to teach him early about his attitude, but he usually does well after I have a talk with him like I did with the my older two kids, who didn't experience the "terrible two's" until they were THREE.
All in all, this Summer is going to be a boring, but also a busy one in prepping for the baby.
We have just about everything we need, just need a couple more things and of course diapers and wipe. Can never have to much of those.
Our family will be busy for the rest of this year and we will also be getting rid of stuff over spring time so we can down size on junk and items we dont need any more.
We sold our Subaru the other day. We will miss the car, or I will. It was a great car, did us good for trips. Some day I will get a vehicle I love.. Maybe a Volkswagen bus or a beetle. I really love those and when the kids get older, I don't mind using that to get around as my little errand car or bus. Some day.
Well I will have to update soon. Might be when the baby is born... Who knows.

Carlson Family Update
It's Been a while since I have been on here. Been so busy with Aidan that for me, time moves by quickly.
Kids started school and some after school sports. Kimberly is doing volleyball and cross country. Collin is doing cross country as well. He would like to do gymnastics or karate some time over the winter. We will see how that goes. We haven't fully talked about it yet.
Aidan had been standing up for weeks but hasn't quite done walking. He will take a couple of steps but then plops back down on the floor and just does his normal crawling around.
Aidan's 1st birthday is October 13, 2013. I am really excited. I wanted to do a Fall theme or Halloween theme for his birthday, but Cassey would like jungle animals. Maybe I can do a giraffe with some leaves. Hmm. something to think about I guess.
Cassey is working hard with his school work. He will be done next Summer and then he can take a break and not think about school. Lately it has been hard taking care of the household while he works and goes to school. His work and school keep him busy lately. But I am fully supportive. I want him to do well. He deserves it.
I have worked on seat covers for Kimberly's class because her teacher needed some for their extra books. I made quite a bit of them.
I have also been working on a blanket for Tara's newborn baby girl. And I have also been working on a drawing for my sister. I am almost done with it, but got side tracked because the kids have activities after school and I get terribly busy.
All in all, we have been one busy family. Probably be busy for the next year seeing how Cassey's schooling is catching up with him, kids school work and sports, and my baby growing and keeping me busy with not much to finish around the house.
But I will do my best to keep posting. And post photos in the near future.
Take care
Jenny

Well, it's been a month and a few days since our little boy has arrived. He is doing well, he is finally growing. He had a rough couple weeks his first time here, it was stressful and worrying, but we said our prayers and he is growing, no jaundice, he is breathing normal, etc. I have been up since 3 am trying to feed him and put him to sleep. At 4:30 he threw up quite big and made a complete mess all over me and the recliner. He didn't cry or anything. So he is sleeping right now. It must have been the bottle feeding that he didn't like. I had breastfed him for 15 minutes. But that didn't work for him so I gave him another couple ounces of formula to supplement. But he threw it all up. The part that worried me was that after I had cleaned him up, changed his clothes and my clothes, he started making noises that sounded like belching noises. I thought he was going to throw up again, but nothing came out. It worried me a bit. But he is fine. I'm holding him in my arms right now to keep an eye on him. I don't know if he will throw up again, or gag again. You never know.
Today we are getting his Christening photos done. I am a little excited, but the sitting is only 10 minutes, which kind of sucks. I hope we can get all the photos done as fast as we can. After the photo shoot today, Kimberly would like to have a mommy, daughter day. She had called daddy when he was coming home from work that we were going shopping. He asked if it was planned, I said, "no." I wasn't aware we were going shopping. But she really wants to go.. So maybe we will go out for a bit... But it might be with the family so we don't drive everywhere today. She wanted to do some Christmas shopping. Hmmm... I don't know about that. We will see what happens. =) I'm happy she wants mommy and daughter time. =) Well, this is the update for us today. I also wanted to mention I am hardly getting sleep.. But I am also doing my best to get naps in as well.

Graduation Testimonial.
Okay, So I had graduated in September, had my ceremony on the 6th of October and life seems to be good for me now. I have an Associates Degree of Business and Administration, with a certification in Management. I also graduated with Honors. Let me tell you.... It was no picnic trying to keep good grades just so that I could graduate with Honors. I feel really good about it. Some people have asked if I am going to further my degree or get a job.... Right now, I am pregnant and expecting a son on October 25th. For right now, my job is to stay home with my kids and spend more time with them, seeing how that was hard to do while going to school.
This is the link of the graduates program. It will have me listed as Tyra Carlson instead of Jennifer Carlson. So if you have a hard time finding me, this is what I am listed as:
http://graduation.ctuonline.edu/graduation/assets/6_Graduation_2012_10_6/6_Graduation_2012_10_6.pdf
Please, if you want it for your records or something, it is there for your convenience.
I am pretty excited that I graduated. I am thankful for the support I have had from family and especially friends. Some of you I owe big thanks for helping me out on some homework that I was confused on. I am glad I knew a few people who had taken business courses and knew exactly how I felt, and what classes I had to take to get here.
Now that I have no more school, I plan to catch up with my hobbies and for the next couple of weeks I plan to get the baby's room ready as much as possible and prepare myself for a busier time. But don't worry, I am looking forward to having another baby in the home. Since it has been five years.
For any of you looking for an interest in school, may I just say.... do something you know you can do. If you keep telling yourself that you can't do it....there are reasons. I took a business course because it was something I knew I was good at. I have had business experience before. If your someone who is looking for the right school, I can't tell you that. But Colorado Technical University was definitely a good school for me. I attended different colleges before I settled with CTU. I have had good teachers, inspiring teachers, and not so good teachers. But you will get that anywhere. But most importantly, have faith, and confidence that you can do it. If you don't have that, then you will never succeed. These are things I told myself each day. So hang on there. And always know that you have the support. If you need help with something, ask for it. Don't give up.
Thanks and many love's to you all. Remember.... If I can do it, you can do it.

Graduation Day (Online Ceremony)
Today is graduation day. I will be graduating with Honors at Colorado Technical University today. I think I am excited. But I am really just thinking to myself, "How did I get here?"
I know I worked as hard as I could to get here.
Well it starts in a few minutes, so I will update more later. =)

School for all of us

Well we are all attending school right now. The kids started school on Monday, which they were excited about. Cassey and Jenny are currently attending CTU at the same time. It has been a busy time for our family. Jenny should be done with these last three classes by September, and then hopefully, if all goes well, she will graduate this year.
We have been expecting a third child (BOY) wahoo. Jenny has been tired, she can't wait till the day will be here. Colorado Springs is starting to cool down a bit, which is nice. Cassey has been busy with work and school. If this hasn't already been mentioned, he made E-6 rank. He is moving up in the military. So it will be nice to make a little more money.
In Jenny's free time, she likes to sew and do crafts when not doing her homework. She has been making a few things for family members. The kids have been reading and playing together. Collin has been learning how to sound out words and be able to read some words on his own, which he does very well in for his age. Mommy helps him with sounding the letters out so he can read the words better.
This family has been quite busy, but doing pretty good. We can't wait for fall. It is Jenny's favorite season.
Well, we will post more if anymore news comes up. Tune in on our posts and keep up to date with us. Thanks for reading. Enjoy your day and God bless.

I am currently 19 weeks. This coming Thursday (June 14th) I will be 20 weeks pregnant. So far the pregnancy is good. I have only had nausea every now and then. But mostly I have done good in the second trimester. I cant wait to have this baby.
School is going pretty well. I have A's in my classes. I am thinking of taking three classes instead of just two. I would really like to finish before the baby is born. But I will probably talk to my adviser about everything so that we can work something out. That is if I choose to go on with this plan. If I do, this means I could graduate a little sooner than December. I finish in November if I stick to two classes. But I would rather finish sooner.
Cassey got advanced to E-6 in the Navy. Yvonne and I and the kids were able to him get frocked for the first time. I have never seen him get frocked. But I think it is mostly because he is the only Navy Sailor in his work place to get advanced. Either way, I am proud of him and that he can advance. It means more money for us and to be able to save more money than what we normally save. We have plans to get a brand new crib and stroller for the baby. So we are a little excited about that. On the 18th of June, we get to find out the gender of the baby. I can't wait. Guess what that means???? BABY SHOPPING. =) YAY!
Im trying to come up with ideas for the kids for the summer to keep them busy. We go to the YMCA for exercise and playing in the pool. But mostly, they play outside and play games. I don't know if that is enough for them. I mean they do stay entertained.
I have also had both of them trying to read and have Collin work on his numbers and letters because he will start kindergarten this fall. I am happy. I get a couple hours or so to myself. Which is nice. But when the baby comes, I will be busy once again. Which I will be fine with. I will be done with school and able to pay more attention to the kids.
Well, I guess I will end this for now. I don't want to write too much of a big novel. =) Happy Summer to all. Thanks for stopping by and reading.
Monday, April 9, 2012
Well I will update this now. Starting in January. We move to Colorado Springs from living in Clearfield, Utah for a year while Cassey was in Korea for a over a year. Cassey returned home and is busy at work. I am still continuing my Education at CTU in the business degree.
I had a birthday in March. I also found out that I am pregnant with our 3rd child. This baby is due November 1, 2012. But with C-Section in play, we may have the baby in October. We are extremely excited and the children can't wait to invite the baby into their lives.
Easter was great. We had Cassey's family here to celebrate it with us. Which was tons of fun. Collin's birthday also landed the day before Easter, so we celebrated it on Easter. He loved the gifts that he got. The kids had fun finding all the eggs in the yard.
Right now I am dealing with morning sickness and being tired a lot. I have had a stiff neck the past couple of days. So I have had a lousy Sunday and Monday morning. But as long as I don't do much to my body, then I won't stress much.
Collin and I are working on going on walks, which we have gone on quite a few.
Please inform us of how your all doing. We like hearing that people are well. And please be happy. And enjoy this beautiful spring.

Summer Time
Our summer has been a long one this year. So much time spending with the family in Idaho.
Lets see, what all have we done.... Kimberly has learned to ride her bike. She is pretty fast. I have had to tell her to slow down because she has a problem stopping and tends to slam into things. I would love to see how she does on the ice... hehehe=).
The kids and I are missing Cassey. They miss their daddy. Kim has had a hard time with him gone. Because of it, I have emotional moments. Collin has missed daddy here and there. But he isn't old enough to understand. But luckily, we get to talk on the web cam with daddy for as much as we can. Kim and Collin have daddy dolls with recorded voices so they can hear daddy's voice whenever they want. We were the first to receive the recorded dolls. We felt lucky and the kids just love them. We sing to the kids, "Bushel and a Peck" and they love it. We have been singing that song to them since Kim was a baby. It's a comforting song for them. So that is what daddy recorded on their dolls.
Today I canned some jam. Its peach jam. I had some peaches that needed to get used before they went bad. It was actually my first time canning them alone. I was afraid it wouldn't work out, because normally it helps to have a friend or someone else there to help. But It wasn't that bad. I will take a photo of it some time and post it on here. I want to get better at posting things that I cook in my kitchen. Because I love to cook and show what I have done. Mostly because I learn how to cook, sew and clean on my own. I don't have anyone to show me because I don't live near my family and I don't know a whole lot of people here in Utah to show me. This summer has been really long. But fun. We went camping with the Killian family. We did some four wheeling. That is pretty much all we do up there and just hang out with the family. This year didn't seem all that exciting as last year because Grandma Killian wasn't there. We had some family that wasn't able to make it because of family struggles and other personal things but overall it was fun to be there. The kids love to four wheel and go hiking and fish. Especially with their grandparents and aunts and uncles. Which helps them while daddy is gone. Well I will post more later when I get the chance. I will take photos of the peach jam I made. I was so glad it turned out because I was afraid that the lids wouldn't press and stay closed. But they did. I was so proud of my accomplishment. Thanks for reading. Please stop by again.

Utah Change
Well we made it to Utah. The kids are trying to adjust. We are all homesick from leaving San Diego. Kim said the other day she wanted to go back to school there. She has told me lately she doesn't like the school here in Utah. I can't do much about it though. Collin definitely misses the warm weather. When we first got to Utah, he kept complaining about the cold and the snow. He is just used to warm weather because he was raised in it for most of his life so far. But all in all, the kids and I are glad to be closer to family.
The kids have enjoyed their grandparents and aunts and uncles and cousins.
Cassey is in Korea for a year. It started out a little hard for us to have him go. Kim has her moments that she wants to go to Korea with daddy. But it isn't safe right now.
I have been busy with school. And Kim goes to school, while Collin and I stay home and spend time together. It will be hard adjusting to this different life without Cassey here, but we knew it was for the best.
It's only a year. We are counting the months till we see each other again.
Well, this is my update on our family. It's been a while since I have been on here.
Happy January to all.

Wisdom Teeth

I had my wisdom teeth pulled out on Thursday. It was weird because they didn't tell me to count backwards or anything. And my doctor didn't look like he was happy. So I was uncomfortable seeing him before he put me asleep. When I woke up, I didn't realize I had fallen asleep. Which is usually what happens when they don't tell you they are putting you to sleep. I usually get warned about this stuff. Today is Saturday and I am still soar. As long as I have my meds, I am okay.
Tara has been a big help through it all with the kids. She has been helping out plenty. I would do something in return for her right now, but I am a little soar in the face. And talking is not something I want to do all day.
All of our kids have the flu. Which is bazaar. Tara and I haven't had it yet. I took Tara and Fred to the hospital because the fever that Fred had didn't go down. But I told her it was just a change in climate. And the flu is in fact going around right now. Collin and Kim have both had it. Collin has got another fever again today.
Tara and I are trying to find ways to relax around the kids. There are just so many of them.
Its been a crazy couple of weeks with all these kids around the house, but all in all, its been good. Can't wait for the kids to start school. It will be nice. I will probably update more information when I feel a little better. My face hurts at the moment. Take care to you all.

Summer

Well we had a long few weeks while in Idaho. Had a reunion with Cassey's family. That was fun.
Then my mom, sister and my kids and I all drove to Kentucky to see my brother graduate from boot camp. It was hot and humid in Kentucky. The drive back wasn't fun but it was still good to see Chris graduate and come back home with us.
San Diego has not been so warm this summer. The news has reported that it hasn't been so gloomy and cloudy since 1916. We have sun pop out every few days but it really doesn't feel like summer. It almost feel's like its turning fall quicker than expected. But that is okay. The weather here in San Diego is always nice.
Kids are playing a lot outside and inside. I take them on walks as usual and take them to parks to play.
I really missed San Diego those few weeks I was gone seeing family. I will be sad to leave this place in December. I have grown attached to this place and it will be hard to let go.
Kimberly starts school in September. I have been looking into some classes for Collin, but he doesn't really need preschool. So I have been thinking of putting him through a tumblers class or something. I am still looking into it so its all up in the air.
I have been working on mom's blanket. It is taking forever to finish. I had to go buy some more supplies for the blanket so that I can finish it. It is almost done. I spent days and nights working on it in my room. I have been avoiding my husband, so he comes up to our room so that way can be together while I am working on the blanket. He is fine with it because he reads his nook all night. He really likes his nook (should have waited till the end of this year to give it to him).
I am also working on other projects to keep me busy.
I try to take some time off the projects so I can clean house and spend time with my kids. I mostly work on my projects when the kids are taking naps, and then I do the rest at night while they play with their daddy.
I have been spring cleaning my home, but it is going slow as usual. Doesn't ever feel like I got rid of anything because I still have so much. Problem is I live in a small home. If I had a bigger house I definitely wouldn't have a lot.
Well this is the scoop on us for now. Happy Summer.

Easter Sunday
Well... It had been quite a weekend for us. Collin and Kimberly had not been good the whole weekend. Kim was home for spring break. Collin is going through a tantrum phase. He doesn't want to listen to anything we say. So that was fun for the weekend. We also decided to celebrate Collin's birthday on Easter since we were getting them gifts for Easter and doing Easter activities. So we decided to put all the excitement together. He wanted a spiderman cake. So I decorated a spiderman cake. It took a while. I was trying to figure out how to draw the spiderman face on there. I wasn't sure where to start. But I did the best I could.
We went Easter egg hunting on the Marine Corp Recruit base. It was better than the Community Egg hunt we went on Saturday. That is a long story so I won't go into detail. But in short, the kids were unhappy with the Community event. But they had fun on the base event.
We also took Collin to Island Burgers. A restaurant with palm trees and parrots in the restaurant. Especially surf boards. If you live in San Diego, you will see many different things here. Which is awesome. We had fun at the restaurant.
Over all this excitement of the weekend, we also experience an earthquake. I was cooking in the kitchen and preparing Collins cake when Cassey looked over at me to ask, "Jenny! Do you feel that?" So I held still for a moment and saw the blinds moving and then I started feeling swaying. So I yelled, "Earthquake". It was pretty quick that it happened, but I immediately shut the stove off and ran out of the kitchen and grabbed Kim (who was freaking out by the way). But it didn't last long so we were safe after that.
General Conference was on this weekend as well. It was really good. I didn't see all of conference, so I am going to have to go back and see the rest of it.
News about Cassey and Re- enlisting....
We have been trying to find jobs available for Cassey's career interest. We have tried the last couple months to find opening's but they have been given to other people. Cassey asked his Chief to put in a good word for Cassey since his Chief knows someone that is giving these openings to people. His chief would like Cassey to re-enlist and stay on the ship. But Cassey doesn't want to work another few years on the ship. He would like a shore command. Which isn't turning out well. They had about three openings for California but were taken. So Cassey hopes to have some good choices this Wednesday when he looks for more openings. If he doesn't get any of these job openings for shore command by late April, we wont re- enlist and we will just find a civilian job. I don't know of all the areas Cassey will look for. But California, Idaho and Utah are among the areas he has in mind to look for civilian jobs. So if we go back home to Idaho, it will be temporary if he can't find a job there. This is all if he doesn't re- enlist for the next few years. So far its not looking good, but we will see how it looks next month. I will post more about that later.
We are all doing well here. Collin will officially be 3 years old this Wednesday. So I am excited because he can go to preschool for a bit. He wants to go to school But I also need to have him fully potty trained.
Take care and this is our Carlson scoop for now.

Valentines
Happy Valentines to all. We hope you all have a great Valentines.
Well... Collin is in the middle of potty training. He is a pill trying to stay on the toilet. But he is doing pretty good for the most part.
Kimberly is doing great in school. She may not need the extra help when she goes to kindergarten. Which will be nice.
Cassey is working hard right now. Busy as ever. They are packing the ship and having to move all their stuff to the barge. They are stripping out the entire ship. I was there the other night eating dinner with him and they had it stripped from one place to the next. It was kind of unattractive. =)
Anyhoo. We are doing good here. The weather has been off and on. A little rain here and a little sun there. This weekend is Presidents Day weekend. Kim has a four day weekend. Cassey may have to work over Presidents Day Weekend because they are trying to clear the ship out so they can move it into the yards.
Well that is all I have for now. I will post more if I have anything else to say.

Kevin did this photo of us at Bonneville Fish Hatchery. It was a ton of fun learning about the fish. My hardest part was trying to take pictures of all the seals we spotted over there because the employers kept shooting off their guns and fireworks to scare them off. But this was my favorite photo done of us through out the Oregon trip.
Kim is inside a big tree I spotted as we were walking back to our vehicles from one of the waterfalls we hiked up to see closer. She really looked cute inside the tree. She could make a cute tree fairy.
I also like to take photos of wildlife. This duck was sitting in front of me near a pond at the fish hatchery and it looked like a great picture to take. "Peek-a-boo"!.
And little Mr. Collins just sitting on the bench all by himself. It was cute.
okay, for some reason my last post didn't update my other photos i tried putting on here. let me try it again...okay i think they worked. He is a photo of Chuy. And then I saw this great area over at liberty Station where we live that has an anchor in the middle of a field. For Christmas, the landscapers designed it with poinsettias. I just thought that would be a great time to take a family photo over there. It was so beautiful I couldn't pass it up. And if I didn't take a photo of the anchor with the poinsettias in it, I would regret it. So we took family photos. It was nice. And of course a photo of Cassey in his uniform. I thought it would be nice for his parents to stand by him and let me take a photo. I also have one of him standing alone in his suit. Which I don't have posted. I might post it later. So enjoy the photos.
NEW YEAR AND AHEAD
Well all last year has been pretty busy. I finished up my classes for a while. I will be taking a break and then starting back up again when I can. Cassey has been really busy on the ship. They have had computer problems and Cassey has had to go to the ship and figure out the problems. He is hoping some time in February he will attend Navy school for a while. I don't know how long that will last, but he is excited to stay off the ship for a while. The only days he will have to go back to the ship are on his duty days. He seems excited to be off the ship.
We had a great Christmas with Cassey's family coming for the holidays. We had lots of presents for the kids. Our Christmas tree was stocked with gifts for everyone. I haven't seen our tree filled since I was little and we had five children and two adults in the home. We were excited to see family. We don't see them a lot. We probably won't see them again until summer time. But we will see what's ahead.
Kimberly is enjoying preschool. She goes to two schools right now. She is under a program with Hawthorne Elementary in the mornings, and then she attends school at Bay Point Elementary which is in front of our house. If I haven't mentioned this before, I love the area we are in because everything I need is walking distance. So it is nice to be able to save gas with the economy so bad here in San Diego.
Collin is getting smarter everyday. Cassey and I have been keeping track of how much words he can say in a sentence. He can say up to seven words in a sentence. He is only 2 years old. But he sure loves to chit chat. If any one asks how he slept through the night, he would go off with words and just talk to you about his dreams. He is really cute. Kimberly likes her little kitchen she got for Christmas. And she also loves her tea set. She plays pretend with us all the time. It is really cute.
We receive a really precious gift for Christmas from Yvonne. A puppy. We named him Chubacka. I don't know if I spelled the name right. But we call him Chuy for short. He is in definite potty training right now. So it isn't much fun. But another problem we face is that we aren't allowed pets in the home. So after a lot of deciding and trying to figure out what to do with the puppy, we have decided that we will be moving. Cassey really doesn't want to get rid of the puppy. And I don't want to break his heart in telling him we have to get rid of the puppy. Because he is really happy. And I would rather see him happy than sad. So right now we are in the process of getting our home pre-inspected before we move out. So wish us luck and hopefully we can find us a home.
Well that is the scoop on us for now. I will post more when I come up with more to talk about. I will post photos up here so everyone can see how we have grown in our family. Loves to all and Happy New Year!

October Harvest
These past few weeks have been busy for us. Harvest time is now in season and we love to take advantage of this beautiful fall season we have had. Fall has always been my favorite season since birth. The leaves give everything a reason to enjoy this season. I bet the East coast looks wonderful. I dont exactly live in an area with a lot of fall trees bleeding to a different color, but I recently went to Julian with the kids to an apple festivity. It was fun. Although the apples in the orchard were tiny and hard to find any available. But the kids loved picking the apples and putting them in the bags. The kids went on a little hay ride, and hay ride I mean a little tractor with a trailer behind it. I was able to take some photos of the kids during this festive day. They both wore red and overalls to celebrate this day. They were both very cute. Cassey was out to sea this week so he wasn't able to show up for it.
But we went home and made some apple cobbler. It was really good.
Kimberly has been doing well in school. She loves to sing. She gets comments on her voice.
Collin still misses not going to school. He always asks, " Is this my school?" I say it will be next year just so he wont get upset that he cant be in there with Kim.
We get our photos done today. It will be a setting with 1920's look. Some how, all of us ended up getting haircuts this week. So we are all ready for the photos. I just hope the kids will cooperate and smile. That is always the hardest.
We went to a community festival for the military family. It was alright. They didn't have a lot of stuff to do. But the kids love going on the rides.
I am headed onto my next course, which is English. Wish me luck. I am not good with English. I would like to be. I'm just not good with it.
So far I am doing well with school. My current grade is an A. But it is starting to get hard. It wont stop me though.
Well I hope to come home with a cd of my photos that will be taken today. So I will come back here and post more. Please keep reading my posts. There are always new changes.
